The Doctor is shaken

The Doctor has disabled anonymous posting at his blog. This is primarily due to the fact that some clever bloke was posting anonymously on his blog and here using the Doctor's and Penix's psuedonyms.

Obviously the Doctor didn't like the fact that his cage was being rattled.

too bad, the same can't happen to you, you dumb-ass intel fanboy

I just think he’s more shaken by the fact that today AMD will present its QUAD Core CPU’s power management features (zzzzzzz!) on paper while Intel demo’s a working OCTODECA Core CPU consuming less power. Talk about AMD closing the gap on Intel.

They're one and the same! Sharikou even comment as an anonymous on this own blog to make it appear that there are like minded individuals reading his blog like him.

Me, well I enjoy reading the comments on his blogs because there are so many funny characters that post their comments there like thekhalif, jeach!, leecooper, oneexpert, etc. They seem to know about everything and always jump at somebody whom they thought as crackpot. Post something fantastic and they'll flame you down. But thats probably because most of them are expert (after assembling your 10th amd computer, you're considered an expert).

Me, I get my high reading comments that these funny characters post. After all, I've assembled my 15th amd computer.

Anonymously yours,

Sharikou is just finally figuring out that the anonymous posters are the least capable of contributing if he's going to be as irrational and inflammatory as he is.

Roborat, you might notice that the "octodeca core cpu" is not on x86, or to be released as a general purpose cpu within the next 10(?) years. I'm pretty sure AMD's power management features are pretty amazing, being that they're done within a single core.

Scientias blog has way more "experts" that make thekhalif look like a complete noob (sorry the khalif, but there are people in their that do go way over both our heads).

Sharikou needs anonymous posting more than anyone else.

I’m sure AMD’s power management is interesting. But bringing it along the ISSCC and presenting it along side Intel’s “Core 4 OCTODECA” (btw, I claim trademark on that name) CPU makes it’s a little bit lame.

Incorrect assumption. Sharikou and I are not the same person.

"I decided to start this blog as a forum to facilitate the intelligent conversation around the AMD and Intel battle in the marketplace that could be happening on Sharikou's blog but unfortunately keeps getting sidelined by Sharikou's blind fanatacism for AMD. "

I think you should stick to your mission statement and drop these blogs about blogs and pseudonyms.

I hear you...but I did say early in the life of the blog that the Doctor was fair game so as long as I'm having a little fun with the Doctor it's ok. Thos who don't want to read those posts can just skip over them.

better yet, why don't we talk about why AMD now needs to borrow money:

Scientia's rosy outlook for 2007, Sharikou's predictions couldn't be any more wrong.

Actually, 180, you couldn't be more wrong. A lot of people started requesting that he moderate the comments more to reduce the flaming and personal attacks and other irrelevant posts.

After several people made that request I suggested that he turn off word verfication and disallow anonymous posting. I pointed out that anyone with integrity will own what they say and not try to hide behind anonoymous posting. The other big difference is that if someone has an odd ball point of view you can pick up on this because you know which posts are theirs. You can't really do this if the posts are anonymous.

So, anyway, it was specifically at my suggestion that he turned off both word verification and anonymous posting. Now you know.

Scientia: Good call. You should allways stand up for your beliefs, no matter how scrued up they seem to be. Its just a shame that you cant get him and penis (erhmm I meen penix) to post real benchmarks, and I dont meen like the once he usually does, you the once where he picks up those that shows AMD in the shining light and totally igonores the rest.

Would also be good if you could get him to use factual sites for info rather then TheInq wich happens to be the webs very own E! Channel.
